Aslam Husain has performed on stages in Russia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Turkey, the UK and Canada. After working as a professional actor in Canada for five years, Aslam received a grant to attend East 15's MFA in Acting programme in 2012 and is now working as an actor in London. Recent credits: Faustus in Doctor Fausts at the Sam Wanamker Playhouse, Hüsnü in 'Shrapnel: 34 Fragments of a Massacre' (Arcola), Lysimachus in 'Pericles' (Berwaldhalen, Stockholm), Ross in 'Macbeth' (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse). He is represented by Liz Nelson at Conway Van Gelder Grant
"While Aslam Percival Husain as a practised smuggler and Karina Fernandez as his pregnant wife quietly impress, this is an ensemble piece that shows how one particular atrocity is part of a wider culture of remote-control destruction."
